Dr. Lisa Anthony is an Assistant Professor in Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Anthony is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general adult and pediatric dermatology. She specializes in the detection and treatment of atypical moles, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancer as well as laser and cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Anthony received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed dermatology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Anthony was an Associate Physician in the Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and Instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Anthony has published numerous scientific articles on diagnostic markers and gene mutations in atypical nevi and melanoma and has presented at local, regional, and national meetings. She is committed to providing the latest evidence-based dermatologic care to her patients and is actively involved with community outreach.
