Laurie Rice, MD, PhD is a board-certified primary care doctor at Mount Sinai Doctors, seeing patients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Midtown. After majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Utah, she was awarded her medical degree from the University of Utah, where she completed her residency in General Medicine and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Rice has traveled various countries in South America and Africa, working in field clinics, and has volunteered with Nova Hope for Haiti, providing on going healthcare to patients in remote rural Haiti, for the last six years. She has a particular interest in individualized medicine, tailoring treatment plans to each patient.
