Katrina Bradley, MD, MPH, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with an established private practice at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West, where she is a faculty member. In addition, she is an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive science at the Icahn School of Medicine. She is interested in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. In addition to the full range of obstetric care, she supports labor and birth in Mount Sinai West’s natural birthing center, as a patient option in low-risk deliveries. In 1995, Dr. Bradley earned her bachelor of science degree in psychology, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She received her medical doctorate in 2000 from Tulane University School of Medicine, in New Orleans, concurrently earning a master’s of public health on a merit scholarship. From 2000-2004, she received her residency training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West, then known as St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. At graduation, she was awarded the department’s Best Study Award for her final research project, “Predictors of Embryo Defragmentation and Outcome Following Fragment Removal in In Vitro Fertilization.” During residency, she also contributed to research regarding fetal head position during labor; this work was published in the journal Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additionally, her resident colleagues awarded her the 2003 David B. Crawford Prize for her professional integrity and teamwork. Immediately after graduating residency, she began her long and successful career as a faculty member in the department. Dr. Bradley is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology.
