Kathryn Marrone, MSW

About Me

Kathryn Marrone, LCSWR, is a Teaching Assistant in Environmental Medicine and Public Health and in Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is the Social Work Director of the World Trade Center Mental Health Program, Clinical Center of Excellence where she has been overseeing all social work services in the program since 2008.


Kathryn received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the New York University Silver School of Social Work.  She has extensive experience providing assessments and treatment for a broad range of mood and personality disorders, with a significant focus on those impacted by trauma.  She has received training in various trauma therapies as well as formal training in treatment of personality disorders.  Kathryn is focused on program development including the development, improvement and expansion of social work services within the World Trade Center Health Program.
