Subsequently, Dr Mark completes her degree in Biology (BS) with honors in psycho-biology research at the SUNY Binghamton University in 2003 and went on to study medicine at the St George’s University School of Medicine in West Indies. In 2007 she got married to her now husband, Dr Kiril Mark, and graduate as a Magna Cum Laude from medical school.
Dr Mark completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Geriatrics at SUNY Upstate Medical University and subsequently moved back to NYC to work as an Academic Geriatrician and Palliative Care attending at St Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. Currently, Dr Mark holds a positions as an Inpatient Site Director for Geriatrics and Palliative Care Medicine at Mount-Sinai Roosevelt Hospital, Medical Director for inpatient Hospice at Mount-Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital, and Project Lead for the IMPACT project for Mount-Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, traveling, and exploring the ever-changing NYC with her husband and their dog, Meeka.

Up to this point in my career my research has spanned many areas of medicine (Dermatology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, and Gerontology) in an attempt to find my true calling. Now that I am a specialist in the area of Geriatrics and Palliative Care medicine I would like my future research to focus on quality improvement projects in these fields.
