Kareem Halim MD is a skilled board-certified dermatologist on the faculty of Mount Sinai. He holds the position of Clinical Instructor in Dermatology and is an expert in the treatment of skin conditions.
Dr. Halim graduated with honors from Harvard Medical School and served as Chief Resident in the Northwell Department of Dermatology. He is originally from New York and is highly regarded in the community. His research has been published in several medical journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has practiced and taught dermatology to other physicians while volunteering in Africa and South America, and is passionate about educating.
It is a central belief of Dr. Halim’s that all patients should be treated with dignity and compassion. He emphasizes patient-centered care and shared decision making. His interests include the diagnosis and treatment of all skin cancers, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and hair and nail conditions. He is enthusiastic about discussing holistic and natural therapy. He offers his patients a range of cosmetic and surgical services.
