Kaedrea A Jackson, MD, MPH

Since starting her role as Medical Director, Dr. Jackson continues to go to great lengths to improve patient safety and bring improvement science into health care environment. Currently she leads and manages a staff of over 60 physicians and physician assistants in efforts to ensure quality care and an exceptional patient experience is delivered in her ED. Her work here has resulted in significant improvements in operational, quality and financial metrics. As co-chair of the Mount Sinai Health System Department of Emergency Medicine Quality and Patient Experience Committee, Dr. Jackson is responsible for developing transformative and innovative programs and processes that are subsequently implemented across all six emergency departments in the Mount Sinai Health system. In 2018, she completed her MBA at NYU Stern Executive MBA Program.

Dr. Jackson remains committed to education throughout all her operational work. She serves as Fellowship Director of Dept of Emergency Medicine Morningside and West Administration Fellowship program. She was promoted in early 2019 to Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Jackson is an active fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
