Dr. Sueker serves as an Assistant Medical Director and is the physician lead for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement in the Mount Sinai Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the MSH Performance Improvement Review and Oversight Committee (PIROC), the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Committee, and the Clinical Review Committee (CRC). He also serves on the Emergency Medicine System Patient Quality, Safety and Patient Experience Committee. His interests focus on clinical quality and patient safety, including identifying ways to improve the consistency of care in the ED.
He attended Tufts University and was selected as a national Harry S Truman Scholar. Prior to medical school, he worked in public health and infectious disease surveillance with the Department of Defense and the US CDC office in Beijing, China. He attended Harvard Medical School, followed by residency in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai. He lives in Brooklyn with his family.
