Jillian Kornfeld, AuD

Jillian Friedman, AuD, CCC-A is a clinical audiologist at the Hearing and Balance Center. She received her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Friedman joined the Center for Hearing and Balance after completing her audiology residency at Mount Sinai in 2016. She completed her doctoral thesis on long-term speech outcomes of auditory brainstem implantation in adults with postlingual deafness. Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis of hearing loss in adults and pediatrics, audiologic rehabilitation including management of amplification and cochlear implants for the adult population, electrophysiology, and vestibular testing. Dr. Friedman is licensed in Audiology through the New York State Department of Education and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
