About Me

Dr. Brodsky is licensed clinical psychologist practicing in New York City. She is a Psychologist at the Mount Sinai St. Luke's CARES (Comprehensive Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education Service) program as well as an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Brodsky received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Duke University. She received her Masters in School Psychology and Doctorate in Psychology in School – Clinical Child Psychology from Pace University in New York, NY. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Central Regional Hospital and the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Medicine in North Carolina, where she specialized in psychotherapy with adolescents and families. Dr. Brodsky has received extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and insight-oriented therapy working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, college counseling centers, day hospitals and inpatient psychiatric units providing individual, group, and family therapy. She has been trained in both Prolonged Exposure Therapy for trauma and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD and other anxiety disorders. Additionally, she has extensive training in the assessment and diagnosis of intellectual, academic, and personality difficulties.
