Jens Hansen, PhD

About Me

Dr. Hansen is a Research Assistant Professor in the Ravi Iyengar Lab in the Department of Pharmacological Sciences and the Systems Biology Center of New York. He studied Human Medicine at the University of Goettingen, Germany, and received his doctoral degree at the Institute for Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology at the same university. After a two year residency at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Chemistry, University Hospital of Regensburg, Germany, he joined the Iyengar lab as a postdoctoral fellow, where he became a computational biologist.
