Jason Rubinov, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist in New York treating patients at the Mount Sinai Doctors practice in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Dr. Rubinov has expertise in a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders and conditions including chronic acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain and gastrointestinal tract bleeding. He also has special expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver conditions, colon cancer prevention, and diseases of the esophagus, including eosinophilic esophagitis and Barrett's esophagus. He is a native New Yorker born to Ukrainian immigrants, and has native fluency in both English and Russian.
Dr. Rubinov completed his undergraduate studies at New York University in Manhattan, New York. After completing his undergraduate studies, he went on to earn his medical degree from St. George's University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Rubinov then completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan. After residency, Dr. Rubinov was selected amongst his peers to be Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and completed a fellowship in graduate medical education and administration. Following his year as Chief Resident, Dr. Rubinov went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, St. Luke's and West Hospitals. During his final year of fellowship, he was selected amongst his peers to be Chief Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow.
