About Me
Jacqueline H. Becker, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist and health services researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Division of General Internal Medicine. She completed her doctoral training at Fordham University in New York, her residency at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, and a two-year clinical neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Neurology at Northwell Health. Her research focuses on the bidirectional impact of cognitive impairment in chronic medical diseases, particularly in underserved minority populations. Currently, she is an active collaborator on Mount Sinai’s Post-COVID-19 Registry, is leading the effort to assess post-COVID-19 cognitive functioning in patients treated through the Mount Sinai Health System, and is co-investigator of a randomized controlled trial of cognitive rehabilitation for long COVID patients. She is also Chair of the International Neuropsychological Society’s NeuroCOVID long-term outcomes task force committee, joining efforts to harmonize global data on post-COVID-19 cognitive sequelae.
