Dr. Palatucci is an experienced board-certified internist who provides primary care to adult patients. He is the Site Medical Director of Mount Sinai Doctors West 14th Street, a multi-specialty practice located in Chelsea.

Dr. Palatucci is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Cornell University, and his medical degree from the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Palatucci completed residency training in New York City at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where he also served an additional year as Chief Resident.

Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, Dr. Palatucci was a member of the Faculty of Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. In this position, Dr. Palatucci taught residents and medical students, and provided care to a large and complex panel of patients. He also served as a weekend hospitalist physician on the inpatient wards. Dr. Palatucci has a particular interest in teaching students and residents to employ principles of evidenced-based medicine when they examine patients, order diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.

Dr. Palatucci is committed to providing high-quality and compassionate care that is based on the best available evidence. He encourages his patients to participate actively in their healthcare decision-making, and he believes disease prevention is an essential part of good medical care. In his spare time Dr. Palatucci enjoys running, cooking and traveling.
