By studying the ways by which researchers seek and utilize scientific information, we are able to better understand their needs and track emerging research areas. Based on the results of this studies we make informed journals and research platforms purchasing decisions.
Research Evaluation Metrics
In this area we use statistical bibliometric methodologies to measure the impact of research. These methodologies rely on several types of data sources from curated A&I databases to online and social media tracking. The purpose of this research is to further develop individual, article and institutional based research evaluation metrics that capture the impact and influence of the scientific endeavor.
