Dr. Eileen Mercurio attended New York University School of Medicine, graduating in 2014. She completed her General Pediatrics residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in 2017. She is currently a pediatric hospitalist in the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Pediatric Observation Unit and an attending physician in the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Pediatric Emergency Department. She holds the title of Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her academic work has centered on pediatric asthma with an emphasis on improving care in an underserved population, standardizing clinical practice, and driving innovation in care delivery.
