Douglas Unis, MD, is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. He has expertise in:
· Total hip replacement
· Muscle-sparing anterior hip replacement
· Total knee replacement
· Partial knee replacement
· Complex revision hip and knee reconstruction
Dr. Unis has extensive experience in the muscle- and tendon-sparing anterior hip replacement technique, being one of the first to perform the procedure in New York City in 2006.
