Daniel Caplivski, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) and the Director of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Travel Medicine Program. To find out more about this program, click here.

Dr. Caplivski helps prepare adults for travel to tropical countries where infectious diseases such as malaria may be more prevalent.  Dr. Caplivski is a graduate of the Gorgas Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine in Peru and has specialized training in evaluating and treating patients who have acquired illnesses while abroad. 

Dr. Caplivski has been selected in New York Magazine's Best Doctors 2018 edition. He has been on this list since 2015. In addition, he has been selected for the Castle Connolly New York Metro Area's Top Doctors list annually since 2013.

Please note that Dr. Caplivski will NOT have access to the yellow fever vaccine until late 2018.
