Britt Lunde, MD, MPH, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with subspecialty training in Complex Family Planning. She serves as the Associate Program Director of the Complex Family Planning Fellowship Program in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Lunde received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois in Chicago where she also achieved a Master of Public Health in maternal-child health. She went on to complete a fellowship in family planning at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and subsequently joined the faculty. 

Notably, Dr. Lunde received recognition for her outstanding efforts in medical education by being awarded a 2016 CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education.  She manages a diverse research portfolio and has special interest in  adolescent contraception, including ongoing collaboration with the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center and NYC School Based Health Centers. She has published in a number of peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national conferences.

Dr. Lunde is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as a Fellow of the Society of Family Planning where she also serves on the Annual Scientific Meeting Subcommittee.
