About Me

Brenton J. Francisco, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Jack Martin Fund Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Program in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Francisco received his medical degree from Texas Tech University-El Paso School of Medicine. He completed a General Pediatrics Internship and Residency at The University of California-Irvine School of Medicine/Children's Hospital of Orange County.
Afterwards, he completed a Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he completed an additional year in a Basic Science Research Fellowship. During his fellowships, Dr. Francisco was involved in research defining the hemostatic system’s role in cancer metastasis and served as co-chief fellow. Dr. Francisco’s focus is to provide dedicated and compassionate multidisciplinary care for patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
