He specializes in musculoskeletal interventional pain management including but not limited to the treatment of pain originating from the back, neck, and joints. In addition, Dr. Mazzola has presented his research at several national pain medicine conferences.

Dr. Mazzola's philosophy is to tailor treatment focusing on the individual needs of each patient: utilizing conservative, non-opioid treatment (medication management, physical therapy, lifestyle modification) and/or minimally invasive procedures (ultrasound or fluoroscopic image-guided interventions targeting the spine, joints, and nerves). Dr. Mazzola understands how pain can disrupt your life; treatment plans are designed to restore your function and improve your quality of life.
