Dr. Annemarie Stroustrup is an Associate Professor with joint appointments to the Department of Pediatrics, Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health, and Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  She is also the System Chief of Newborn Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and Director of Newborn Services for the Mount Sinai Health System.

In addition to attending in the NICU at Mount Sinai, Dr. Stroustrup heads a research program exploring the impact of hospital-based environmental exposures on multi-system long-term outcomes related to prematurity.  Her multidisciplinary research interests span the fields of children’s environmental health, perinatal epidemiology, neonatology, and neurodevelopment.
