She received her BA from Columbia University and her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. She completed her Pediatrics residency and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center (Northwell Health). She joined Mount Sinai’s Division of Pediatric Allergy in 2008, and again in 2016, after working for 2 years in private practice in Brooklyn. Through her career, Dr. Cox has been involved in specialized clinical care in the field of food allergy.
