About Me

Dr. Alexis Langsfeld is an Assistant Clinical Professor / Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Fellowship trained in Emergency Ultrasound, with a continued commitment to international health and underserved Native Populations. Prior to joining the Emergency Medicine faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine, Dr. Langsfeld attended MCP/Hahnemann/Drexel University College of Medicine graduating in 2003.  She completed residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden NJ in 2007 and Fellowship in Critical and Emergency Ultrasound at St. Luke's Roosevelt (now Mt Sinai West). Dr. Langsfeld lectures and teaches Ultrasound academically, nationally, and internationally, and serves the Indian Health Service at Tsehootsooi Medical Center in Fort Defiance Arizona on the Navajo Nation.

Her current interests include international medicine, preventive health and integrative wellness, long hikes and quality time with her family.
