Dr. Adie Friedman is the Interventional Radiology Section Chief and Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program Director at Mount Sinai West. Dr. Friedman holds a teaching appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has over 15 years of experience in the practice of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Friedman received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and completed his radiology residency at Tufts/New England Medical Center in Boston. He completed an Interventional Radiology fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and earned an American Board of Radiology Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Friedman is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR).
Dr. Friedman was recognized as a New York area "Top Doctor" by Castle Connelly and New York Magazine. He is also a reviewer in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
