Dr. Geria earned his B.S, from The Pennsylvania State University in 2005 and his M.D. degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2009. He did his one-year transitional Internship at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA and following the completion of that training in 2010, he entered Howard University College of Medicine for his dermatology residency. During his residency which he finished in July 2013, Dr. Geria was the recipient of a Resident Research Award (2011) and during medical school was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha as well as the recipient of the Marcus T. Block Award for Academic Excellence in Dermatology. Dr. Geria is licensed to practice medicine in New York and Washington, DC and is Board eligible.
He is a bright and accomplished physician that has served as a peer reviewer for Orlando Dermatology and Aesthetic Clinical Conference and for Skin of Color Seminar Series (2013), as well as Mycoses, European Journal of Dermatology, and the British Journal of Dermatology. Dr. Geria is the Expert’s Opinion Columnist for HAPPI Magazine and is a member of the New Jersey Medical School Preclinical Committee.
