In Memory of U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg – A True Champion for Children

We are deeply saddened to announce that U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg — who fought for legislation to protect our children and families from unsafe and untested chemicals — passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013. Senator Lautenberg was the Children’s Environmental Health Center’s inaugural Champion for Children honoree and will be remembered as a true hero in public health.

Senator Lautenberg’s family has asked that donations be made in his memory to support the important research being conducted at the Children’s Environmental Health Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

All memorial donations should clearly indicate they are designated to the Children’s Environmental Health Center and indicate that the gift is made in Senator Lautenberg’s name. These donations can be directed as follows:
