Mount Sinai’s premium patient floor Eleven West welcomes international guests with hotel-level accommodations that foster tranquility and healing. In order to enhance the highly-skilled medical treatments provided by Mount Sinai physicians, Eleven West brings a new dimension to hospital-based accommodations with a fusion of modern hospitality and a refined atmosphere. Patients can enjoy comforts ranging from gourmet meals to afternoon tea to soaring views of Manhattan’s Central Park. In addition to providing the highest quality nursing care, Eleven West is pleased to offer the following to our international patients:
- Nineteen private rooms and suites each with their own en-suite bathroom
- Three gourmet meals daily from our private kitchen, prepared to meet each patient’s dietary needs by our culinary-trained chef who holds a master’s degree in nutrition
- Complimentary continental breakfast for patient families
- A 24-hour concierge staff to assist with any needs or requests
- An additional bed upon request for family wishing to spend the night in the patient’s room
- Complimentary delivery of The New York Times
- Daily afternoon tea in the library for patients and families

Travel/Visa
Because crossing international borders for medical treatment can be a complex process, the International Services Department provides a travel concierge team to facilitate transportation and hotel arrangements for patients and families visiting the United States. We are pleased to partner with Protravel International, New York’s premier luxury travel agency, in order to provide the best possible experience for our patients, including the following arrangements:
- Complete travel visa arrangements
- Airline booking and reservations
- Luxury car and limousine service to/from airport
- Meet-and-greet airport assistance and lost baggage services
- Hotel and long-stay apartment reservations for patients and families
