Your Day is Carefully Planned to Take Advantage of Mount Sinai’s World-Class Experts
You will start your day with a comprehensive examination followed by diagnostic lab work and imaging scans, if needed. Prior to your visit, our team will have gathered results from diagnostic testing that may have been completed previously.
Then, you will meet with a team of cancer experts including medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and radiation oncologists. They will work together, along with radiologists, pathologists, and clinical trial specialists, to design a comprehensive, personalized treatment plan for you.
Our team will make sure you understand your treatment plan and will help arrange necessary appointments. They will also provide referrals for support services such as genetic and nutrition counseling.
