Whatever breast imaging or diagnostics you may need, we have it all onsite. Our equipment is state-of-the-art, including:
• High-resolution, 3D mammography, capable of extremely detailed images for both routine screening and diagnosis. One advantage with our mammography equipment is that the patient can be in a sitting position for comfort, rather than standing or lying down.
• Breast ultrasound imaging allows us to offer additional screening for patients with dense breast tissue or risk-factors, or to gather more information when there is an area of concern, such as a lump, discharge, or mammogram finding. We are capable of performing ultrasound-guided biopsies and aspirations, as well.
• Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive procedure that uses radio waves and magnetic fields to create detailed images of the inside of the body. We also are equipped to perform MRI-guided biopsies, if necessary.

Our brand-new facility at 1441 South Avenue is home to comprehensive women’s health services, including primary care, gynecology, and breast surgical services, as well as specialty services including cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and podiatry. Should you require other specialty services, patients have access to the vast resources of the Mount Sinai Health System.
