Breast Center

We offer integrated, compassionate, and seamless care for every phase of breast health including prevention, diagnostics, surgery, and support services for benign and malignant breast conditions. The Breast Center is staffed with leading board-certified breast surgeons and specialists committed to providing coordinated, holistic care to support you medically and emotionally.

Our surgical team works seamlessly with on-site radiologists so patients can see their breast surgeon and have testing such as mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, all in the same day.

Our multidisciplinary team includes breast surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, medical and radiation oncologists, genetic counselors, nutritionists, advanced practice nurses, and social workers. The Mount Sinai Breast Center provides comprehensive care for a variety of services:

Examples of elevated breast cancer risk factors include strong family history, atypical ductal hyperplasia, atypical lobular hyperplasia, LCIS, and BRCA, PALB2, and CHEK2 gene mutations.

The Spine Center offers a fully integrated collaboration among Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Physiatry/Pain Management to provide the highest quality, comprehensive spine care. Many spine conditions can be treated non-surgically, but when surgery is the best option to treat your condition, we emphasize minimally invasive procedures whenever possible. For non-surgical spine care, we offer an interventional spine physiatrist with expertise in pain management and sports medicine. To ensure diagnosis and treatment accuracy, our specialists use the latest, state-of-the-art EOS 3D imaging, as well as traditional imaging such X-rays and MRI when needed.
