Conducting translational molecular-genetics techniques in conjunction with PET imaging in animal models, and to be trained to conduct PET imaging in human clinical populations; carrying out molecular and biochemical assays including hybridization histochemistry, and western blot on postmortem brain specimens from human drug abusers and animal models; carry out statistical analysis and presentation of data.
Experience in techniques such as rodent positron emission tomography (PET), operant drug self-administration paradigm, stereotaxic surgery and basic molecular biology as well as biochemical methods such as in situ hybridization histochemistry quantitative PCR.
