"Mount Sinai Practice Opens Long Island Complex" - Jennifer Henderson
Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island opened its new 80,000-square-foot health center Thursday in Greenlawn. The complex will house services including preventive care, allergy, urology, women’s health, imaging and immediate care. It also plans to expand into oncology services and potentially into ambulatory surgery, said Arthur Klein, MD, president of the Mount Sinai Health Network. “We’re looking to make it a facility that will serve not only the traditional Mount Sinai campus but also our new partnership with South Nassau Communities Hospital.” Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island, formerly known as North Shore Medical Group, became part of Mount Sinai more than two decades ago. Since that time, the practice has doubled to more than 70 physicians working in more than 20 specialties, Dr. Klein said.
