Julissa Marquez is legally blind as a result of a stabbing more than three years ago. Ronald Gentile, MD, director of the Ocular Trauma Service at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and his team of doctors were able to restore the retina in her right eye after the stabbing. "Wearing the eSight headset helps Marquez see nearly 20/20," something she never thought she would be able to do again.
