On May 30, 2016 from noon until 1 pm, Mount Sinai Concerts for Patients presents the two-time Grammy- nominated Bach Choir of Holy Trinity, under the direction of Donald Meineke in a program titled, Music of the British Isles Spanning 500 years. Mount Sinai Concerts for Patients, was founded in November, 2015 by oboist Kristin Olson and violinist Nadir Aslam to give back to patients and the hospital staff, after both musicians met during treatment and surgeries for the same life-threatening and potentially career-crushing lung condition.
