"Accelerating Adoption and Diffusion of Innovations in Care Delivery" - Jeff Selberg, Prabhjot Singh, and Jorge Alday
Patient Mary Febus and Prabhjot Singh, MD, PhD, director of the Arnhold Institute for Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, (who is also co-author of above article) talk about Family Physicians Group, one of a handful of high-performing primary care practices identified by America's Most Valuable Care, a research study funded by the Peterson Center on Healthcare and conducted at Stanford University's Clinical Excellence Research Center (CERC). The study identified US primary care practices scoring in the top quartile on quality (based on the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set measures) and the lowest quartile on cost, after risk adjustment.
