"Drug Xeloda Prolongs Survival For Some Breast Cancer Patients" - Amy Norton

A drug called Xeloda can extend the lives of women whose breast cancer is not wiped out by standard treatment, a new clinical trial finds. Stephen Malamud, MD, associate professor of medical oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai said "Xeloda is a pill, so it's easy to take and is much less toxic than standard chemotherapy, most importantly, it extended overall survival in this study."
