Very deep beneath The Mount Sinai Medical Center there is a super computer called Minerva that is changing the way doctors understand disease. The idea is to collect a vast amount of data on patients, down to the molecular level. "With a super computer like Minerva, we can begin to collect all the electronic health information and learn about our patient population in ways that individual doctors cannot," said Joel Dudley, PhD, of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
