Nephrology Specialist of ¡A tu Salud!

Dr. Jaime Uribarri is both the director of the Renal Clinic and the Home Dialysis Program at The Mount Sinai Hospital and assistant professor of nephrology at the Icahn School of Medicine. Born in Chile, Dr. Uribarri received his medical degree from the University of Chile Medical School, and completed his postgraduate medical training in the United States.

Dr. Uribarri is very active in clinical investigation, having published well over 100 papers and contributing to a variety of medical books over the past 30 years. He has lectured extensively on renal disease both nationally and internationally, as well as locally in the East Harlem community.

Dr. Uribarri is an active member of several health organizations and professional associations, including the American Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Nephrology, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the International Maillard Reaction Society.
