Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic
Physicians at the Ambulatory Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic specialize in the care of older adults with psychiatric illness and memory problems. Partially located in the Martha Stewart Center for Living, the Ambulatory Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic offers comprehensive treatment for older adults.
Our interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals provides individualized psychopharmacology, comprehensive cognitive evaluations for the diagnosis and treatment of memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, group therapy for depression and anxiety, and support groups for those suffering from dementia. Some of our patients may also take part in the research initiatives of the Department of Psychiatry.
Caregivers often need support as well. We also offer psychotherapy and support for those caring for individuals with dementia.
We accept traditional Medicare, Medicaid, and some managed care/insurance plans. Call our coordinator, Julia Diaz, at 212-241-9382 to arrange for an appointment.
