Susan L Zylbert, MD

Susan Zylbert, MD, is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital.

After completing her Pediatric Residency at the Montefiore Medical Center and a two year Ambulatory/ED fellowship at Jacobi Hospital, she joined the faculty of Mount Sinai Medical Center and has remained there ever since.

Dr. Zylbert's passions include caring for the medical and mental health needs of children from infancy through 21 years of age, teaching residents and medical students, and involvement in community programs. Mount Sinai Hospital has been the perfect fit. She has been an active participant at the Cohen's Center for Pediatric Comprensive Care (formally known as Mount Sinai Pediatric Associates), and has been involved in many committees helping to serve children. Additionally she serves as a pediatric clinic supervisor for residents in both the Pediatric program, and Pediatric Triple Board program which teaches residents to become pediatricians as well as psychiatrists. Dr. Zylbert has great ties to the East Harlem community and is currently the Medical Director for the Mount Sinai School Based Health Program. For the past 25 years, she has been involved in this program, which provides medical and mental health care to children in several schools in East Harlem at no cost to their families. She and her team are very pleased to be able to provide care to all children as part of their medical home.
