Biography

    Dr. Bhatia is a native of NJ, who attended Cornell University and Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  She completed her internal medicine residency and her geriatrics fellowship at New York Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Medical Center.  She joined the staff at Mount Sinai Visiting Doctors in August 2013, and has enjoyed her role working with patients with complex chronic illness.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
