Biography

    Dr. Rastogi is board certified in ophthalmology and has special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and complicated intraocular surgery.

    He graduated summa cum laude and Phil Beta Kappa from Wayne State University and was awarded his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.  His transitional internship was completed at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and his residency in ophthalmology was           through the Kresge Eye Institute, which is affiliated with Wayne State University.   A fellowship in glaucoma was completed at University Eye Specialists in Chicago, Illinois under the mentorship of Dr. Ted Krupin.

    Dr. Rastogi has been practicing in Brooklyn for almost eight years. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors – Brooklyn Heights Medical Group, he was co-director of the glaucoma service in the Department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is an associate physician of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

    Some of his professional society memberships include American Glaucoma Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, New York State Ophthalmology Society and Brooklyn Glaucoma Society.
