About Me

Dr. Ross Zeltser is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery. Dr. Zeltser earned his B.A. in Biochemistry from Columbia University in 1997 and earned a Research Fellowship while at Columbia.  In 2002, he received his M.D. degree from the University Of Rochester School Of Medicine and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.  He was also awarded a Research Fellowship by the Lupus Foundation of America and The Edward F. Adolph Medal in Physiology.  Dr. Zeltser then completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital prior to entering the dermatology residency program at BU/Tufts, which he completed in 2006.  During his internship he was awarded by his fellow residents as “Intern of the Year.”  Following the completion of his dermatology residency, he did a one year Mohs surgical Fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Gary S. Rogers.  Dr. Zeltser is licensed to practice medicine in New York and was Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 2006.

 

To date, Dr. Zeltser has co-authored 11 articles and was first author on five.  His academic credentials are impeccable as are his clinical and surgical skills.
