Biography
- Patricia A. Bloom, MD is an Associate Professor of Geriatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and the Director of Integrative Health for the Martha Stewart Center for Living/Coffey Geriatrics Practice at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Bloom's major interest is the promotion of healthy aging including Mindfulness/Meditation, Stress Reduction and Integrative Medicine. She teaches Meditation and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for patients and Mindfulness for Caregivers at the Martha Stewart Center for Living. Dr. Bloom also conducts stress reduction workshops for professional and workplace groups, and is involved in research in integrative health. She has been involved in geriatric patient care, education and research for over 30 years.
