About Me

Dr. Gaisa is a professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases. His expertise is in sexual health, HIV treatment and prevention as well as anogenital HPV infection and anal cancer prevention. He directs the Program for the Prevention of Anal Cancer (PPAC) for The Mount Sinai Health System. He is an expert in high-resolution anoscopy (HRA) and treatment of anogenital condylomata (warts) and high-grade dysplastic (precancerous) lesions involving anal canal and perianal skin. Procedural offices are located on 158 W 124th Street (3rd floor) in Harlem as well as on 275 Seventh Avenue (12th floor) in Chelsea.

In collaboration with Drs. Dr. Gaisa serves on the Board of Directors of the International Anal Neoplasia Society (IANS), an international, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to anal cancer prevention and treatment.
