Biography
Dr. Linda DeCherrie graduated from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1999. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University where she was named chief resident. She then came to Mount Sinai for her fellowship in Geriatrics which she completed in 2005. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Geriatrics. She joined the Mount Sinai Visiting Doctors Program after her fellowship and is currently the Associate Director of the program which provides primary and palliative care for homebound patients in Manhattan. In 2011 she became the Program Director of the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency program. Her clinical and research interests are medical education in chronic care of complex frail patients in the ambulatory setting.
