Lincoln R Hess, MD

About Me

Dr. Hess is on the faculty at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he teaches, supervises, and formally assesses psychotherapy competencies of trainees in Psychiatry. He teaches Principles of Psychoanalysis at The New York Psychoanalytic Institute where he completed training in adult Psychoanalysis. He trained in Psychiatry at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York University-Bellevue. He earned an MD degree at Rush Medical College. He has extensive experience evaluating medically ill children and adoptive families.
