Biography

    Dr. Elliot is an internationally trained neurologist with internal medicine training whose background includes fellowship and faculty experience in neuro-oncology, pain, and palliative care at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Elliott specializes in neuropathic pain as well as infectious neurology and has a special interest in acute zoster and postherpetic neuralgia. Dr. Elliott is the neurologist for the Manhattan HIV Brain Bank and is principal investigator on two neuropathic pain studies.

Industry Relationships

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
