Dr. Gilgoff received his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in biological basis of behavior. He was awarded his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco and completed a pediatric residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He has worked with children since 1986 and has been a pediatrician since 1996.
He specializes in newborn care, asthma and development issues and brings a balance to his practice as he incorporates teachings from both Eastern and Western medicine. He is an associate physician with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Gilgoff is fluent in Spanish. He lives in Cobble Hill with his wife, Christine, and their daughters Halle and Lia.
